Hispanic American Thanksgiving traditions

When we think of Thanksgiving, we often picture a turkey, a classic stuffing, sweet potatoes and green beans. However, if you are Hispanic American, your table might look a little different. Here are a few thanksgiving traditions you will find in Latino homes:

1. There might be pork alongside the turkey

2. Some heavy drinking, including coquito or ponche crema🍹

3. Dinner starts after 9pm

4. Rice is a must

5. Flan, tres leches or turrón instead of pumpkin pie

6. We usually don’t hold hands to say thanks

7.Forget football, we’re playing salsa 💃🏻
